Bruno’s was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at. We had walked past it a few times and it looked like a unique little setting so we decided to make a booking for dinner.
Highlights of Bruno’s Restaurant in Positano
- The insane view of sparkling Positano at night from the roadside seats

- The bespoke ceramic ‘Bruno’ blue and white tableware.
- The intriguing setup where the waiters have to dash back and forth across the road with orders, food and drinks.
- The banging pasta and Aglianico red wine.
The Setting at Bruno’s Restaurant in Positano
Bruno’s is renowned for being an authentic local restaurant. It sits just at the top of one of the curvy hills just above Positano beach. Bruno’s seems to have some space inside for seating but its main seating strip is on the pavement opposite the restaurant.
It makes for quite a unique setting, as the waiters have to keep running back and forth across the road with the food and drinks.
Getting The Best View in Positano
The view from Bruno’s roadside seating is really incredible. It is particularly stunning in the evenings. Therefore, these seats are the most popular so I would definitely recommend booking ahead and requesting the roadside seats.
The food was really delicious, we had a mix of deeeeeelicious pasta and my bestie Nicee had a seafood dish. Everything was super enjoyable and I just really liked the vibe here. Chilled and low key, authentic but with a view to die for.
Is Bruno’s One of The Best Restaurants in Positano?
Well, we didn’t get to try all of the restaurants in Positano!(dang)… But we did try a good handful and Bruno’s was definitely up there with some of the best.
